Have you ever had any of these thoughts??? “I’m not where I thought I’d be at this point in my life. I thought I’d be farther along. I thought I’d have a better job, a nicer house. I’d be respected in my field…and now I’m not working in the field I thought I would be!” “I’m just too busy to chase my dreams…there’s no way that I could ever start doing what I really want to do, I have too many responsibilities, too many bills.” “Even if I knew where to start, I couldn’t possibly chase after my dreams–it wouldn’t be responsible! Honestly I was surprised by how informative this little book was. A friend of mine suggested I read it when I didn't even know it existed. It's fun and has helped motivate me to get started on a project for some plans I've had for a long time but never started moving on.At least on the iPhone application of kindle there are a lot of places where 't are erased from words like don't but I'm sure that's some sort of technical error that will be fixed shortly. Even with it it's not a tough read.

Project Success How to Break Barriers and Bring Your Ideas to Life Mark Sieverkropp Lily Kreitinger 9781545410332 Books Reviews
As I was reading Project Success, it helped me realize that I can achieve my goals and my dreams even if the job I have has nothing to do with what I want to end up doing in my life, it just pays the bills. It has great quotes and that way the author talks in the book is just the way he would talk to anyone face to face, like he’s having a conversation with you. This book was a joy to read and it really inspired me to get out and not give up on my goals and dreams! Thanks!!!
I would recommend this book to anyone who is at a crossroads in their life where they are looking for a sign or tools to help them achieve what they want out of life. I am usually skeptical of these kinds of books but Mark does a great job of breaking down tools for success and letting you know that it's not as hard as one may think if you have the proper dedicarion. Fabulous read and I would recommend this to any small business or any person in general who needs a push in the right direction or needs a guiding tool to being Successful.
Project Success will teach you that all the obstacles you have identified that keep you from starting a project are easily overcome if you have a plan and stick to it. You will learn that succeeding or failing is not the goal. Learning and growing are. Read and follow this motivational step-by-step guide so you can, too, achieve project success.
This book helps you determine what you want to achieve and lay out a plan to achieve it. No more waiting for someone to pick you. Determine something you want to learn, or a goal you want to accomplish, and then get there by creating a project. You choose yourself and then apply Sieverkropp's methods to break down an ambitious, and potentially overwhelming, goal into a project.
There are many who pich get-rich-quick schemes along with other tempting enticements to "easy" success. I think the only people doing well on those programs are the purveyors!
That is not what this book is about. The author's genuine passion comes through clealry. And if all advice is autobiographical, he has lived the principles he preaches. The real reason you should resd this,, though, is because it offers a process to systematically define your core values. Once that is clear, you can go on to ordering your life around them.
Even if you are on the right track, who can't benefit from positive examples and feedback?
Project Success is a fabulous read. In fact, it’s one that will change your mindset and help you reach a level of success in your life that you never thought possible. The book helps us shift our view of projects and what you can accomplish once you begin to create projects for yourself. The information provided in the book will be invaluable to you as you set out for success.
Despite the grammatical and typographical errors in the edition of the book I reviewed, I felt the actual content still warrants 4 stars.
Since project management is its own field, I would guess the literature regarding project management is quite extensive. Even so, I can think of a couple reasons why you should read this book, especially if you are new to the project management field.
To me, this book offers the following value
In an easy to read format, the book lays out a project management framework anyone can use to bring a personal or organizational project to a successful conclusion.
The book addresses both the technical and psychological aspects of project management.
The book also addresses the technical aspects of project management in a practical, down-to-earth manner.
Even with the flaws in the edition I read, I found the book still worth reading.
Honestly I was surprised by how informative this little book was. A friend of mine suggested I read it when I didn't even know it existed. It's fun and has helped motivate me to get started on a project for some plans I've had for a long time but never started moving on.
